Gameplay
The game lasts about 1-2 minutes. Moving is done by the player jumping on his physical jumping board. The longer you stand on the board the more the statue 'charges up' to jump and the higher you will jump. When you jump up, your statue jumps too. If you 'charge' long enough your statue does a special move. When he lands he creates an earthquake making the other statues fall down if they are touching the ground in that moment.
Jumping boards
In the final stages of the project I was responsible for making the jumping boards. The normal versions are made of wood, flexible foam and aluminium. The handicapped versions are made of plastified paper, cardboard and aluminium. The aluminium served as a conductor to the Makey Makey board which allowed us to make our own buttons. When a player was standing on a jumping board, the aluminium would connect and the button would be pressed, 'charging' the statue's jump. When a player jumped the circuit would be broken, the button released and the statue would jump. The boards were purely meant as a prototype.
